Into The Beyond

Story:

There is quite a beautiful story captured in this image. Bottom of frame you see the Wildhorn Mountain Hut, a well known overnight spot for ski touring in Winter. Top of frame, one of the highest peaks of the region, the Wildhorn, awaits ski tourers as day breaks. Middle of frame, barely big enough to make out, are three ski tour journeymen making their way upward. For me, this image speaks of a journey into a wild place, a beautiful place, into the beyond both physically and mentally - a true transcendence.

Location: Iffighore (looking towards the Wildhorn), Bernese Alps, Switzerland
